I am really looking forward to learning more about google documents as from Activity 1 videos etc I can already see a great use for it in our school. Not only can I use it but so can students.
However frustrations have hit. I can not get to the places in Activity 2 and being a school owned laptop I am having difficulties trying to download or connect. Added to my frustration I am at home. I have sent out emails asking for clarification and may have to log a request on the help desk which creates another problem in that we dont always have our tech staff available all the time at school as they work across several schools.
Hopefully I will keep playing and work out how links go.

Reflections on Module 2
I have created my blog account as required and having checked out several different blogs I am open to their use in a classroom.
I also created a twitter account and was frustrated with the set up and the need to follow other accounts. It may be I missed the skip button on the first two followers pages . I looked but couldn't see. I can ways and some advantages that twitter can be used in classrooms but am very doubtful of its uses in a Primary classroom. Call me old fashioned but I can see many problems that could arise from using it with younger children.
This will be one of the areas that thru this course I may change my mind but at present I have reservations about it.

Module 2
Hi
My name is Jane and I teach computers to the students at St Patrick's Primary in Bundaberg. I have signed up for this course in the hope to not only broaden my ideas in using computers today but also to explore the different options available to me and my students.
I signed up for this course a while back but between school work and a trip to China I have not really had the opportunity to work on any of the units. With a little bit of long service left and before I have to go back and start reports I hope to make some time for exploring these many and varied tools and hopefully pass on the skills to my students .
However I have already hit my first hurdle in that I clicked on create blog before picking design so will have to find that option before next post. If this is not all white you will know I succeeded
